Bring the family to commemorate this year’s theme: Prost! A celebration of German horses, ponies, and culture!
Breyer Model Horses® is excited to share that tickets are now available for BreyerFest®, its annual festival to be held July 15-17, 2022 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. This year’s event will be the first ever in-person + online BreyerFest celebration! Breyer fans can participate both onsite in Kentucky and online from anywhere in the world. To honor its theme of Prost!, BreyerFest will be featuring and celebrating all things German – including music, food, art, literature, culture and the famous German horse and pony breeds, of course!
What is there to do? So much! Live horses will entertain all day long and there will be meet-and-greet sessions for our special guest horses! A live broadcast studio set in the heart of BreyerFest and featuring host, Kimber Goodwin, will bring all the action to big screens throughout the Park as well as into your living room! BreyerFest participants can enjoy a wide variety of model horse workshops such as Marble Magic painting and Arabian Halter making, seminars including Horse Color Theory with artist Mindy Berg, visit with popular Youtube vlogger My Froggy Stuff, participate in five incredible model horse shows, revel in all the breeds and disciplines with over 200 hours of exclusive event content, paint their own Stablemates Horse for free, enjoy films from the Equus Film Festival, run the BreyerFest 5k, and shop for all their favorites!
“We are so thrilled to be back at the Kentucky Horse Park! To celebrate, we have gathered the largest group of real-horse-turned-Breyer-model Guest Horses ever!”, says Jaime Potkalesky, Senior Events Manager. “This hybrid event combines all the best parts of our virtual format with the incomparable feeling of being with your best friends and favorite horses in Kentucky! Fans joining us online will experience BreyerFest like never before – for three days, we will broadcast live from BreyerFest bringing you all the equine entertainment, interviews with Guest Horse owners, riders and trainers, seminars, workshops and the thrill of winning the Championship class at the world’s largest model horse show.”
For this year’s celebration, Breyer invited a variety of German breeds for fans to meet at BreyerFest! The star of the party is the 2022 Celebration Horse, Nikolas, a beautiful buckskin German Riding Pony who is wowing judges in the dressage arena and stealing the hearts of Breyer fans all over the world! Not only can you meet this super pony at BreyerFest, but you will also get to meet a rare Black Forest Draft Horse, the top dressage German Riding Pony stallion on the west coast, and a multi-champion Württemberger hunter, as well as Holsteiners, Trakehners, Hanoverians and more! If that’s not enough, we also invited Guest Horses from BreyerFest 2020 and 2021, including 2021 Celebration Horse, Danash’s Northern Tempest!
The much-anticipated BreyerFest evening show, our Celebration of Horses, returns as well with two spectacular nights at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. Produced by the legendary Sylvia Zerbini, the evening will dazzle fans with breathtaking equestrian entertainment from across North America.
