For many of us, a Breyer model horse helped fan the flames of our passion for horses and gave us our first taste of horse ownership. Model horses reside in a unique and important niche of the Equine Industry, fostering appreciation and making horses more accessible to many children and adults. Did you know that Breyer also offers a variety of internship opportunities for college students looking to develop their creative equine related job skills?
If you are interested in event planning and logistics, maybe you would be interested in being an Intern for BreyerFest. Every year, Breyer hosts BreyerFest a three-day celebration of horses, featuring Breyer horses and the real-life horses who inspired the models. Interns might work on customer communications, planning for the event, and management of the day-to-day activities during BreyerFest. With 35,000 people attending both live and virtual events and programs, there are a lot of exciting opportunities to gain experience. For the more artistically inclined, there are Internship opportunities with the Production team where you could follow the life cycle of a model from brainstorming, to design, to samples , and finally to production.
Prior Interns have been pursuing degrees in Equine Management and Business, while others have been minoring in Equine Studies while majoring in a variety of degrees like Marketing, Graphic Arts or Architecture. Whatever your interests, Breyer might be a great fit for you! If you would like to explore internship opportunities, email: jobs@reevesintl.com.
